- Strong Java & Kotlin Expertise
10+ years of hands-on development using Java and Kotlin, with deep knowledge of Android frameworks, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM/Clean Architecture, modularization, and performance-aware UI design for IVI systems.
- AAOS HMI Development & Customization
Design and implement custom AAOS HMI applications and services (Home, Media, HVAC, Settings, Instrument Cluster interactions) leveraging Car APIs, VHAL data, and Automotive UI libraries.
- UX, Performance & Safety Optimization
Optimize HMI responsiveness, cold/warm boot experience, rendering performance, memory usage, and ANR prevention; ensure compliance with driver distraction guidelines, multi-window constraints, and automotive UX best practices.
- System Integration & Vehicle Data Consumption
Integrate HMI apps with vehicle signals via VHAL, CAN/Ethernet abstractions, and middleware services; collaborate with platform teams to consume real-time vehicle data reliably and securely.
- Technical Leadership & HMI Governance
Act as HMI SME and technical mentor; establish coding standards, UI design systems, review practices, CI quality gates, and guide OEM/Tier-1 stakeholders through design reviews, feature planning, and release readiness.
