CHALLENGES:

Blood for transfusion needs to be transported under controlled and highly reliable conditions.
The temperature of whole blood and red cell components must be kept at +2 °C to +10 °C during transport.
If blood is stored or transported outside of these temperatures for a long, it loses its ability to transport oxygen or carbon dioxide to and from tissues upon transfusion.
Other factors of serious concern are the risk of bacterial contamination if blood is exposed to warm temperatures.
To maintain the quality of blood specially designed blood transport boxes are used to ensure that they can reliably maintain temperatures at +2 °C to +10 °C for the planned journey, using appropriate coolants or ice packs.

OBJECTIVE :

To port Automotive Grade Linux(AGL) on the iMX8M Quad platform and get it certified for ISO26262.

The following are the high-level requirements of the product:

Port the latest version of AGL on the iMX8M Quad platform.
The board brought up the iMX8M Quad platform.
Get all the interfaces of the platform working.
Complete System testing on the EVM to test AGL functionality working.
Port the AGL to the target platform which is based on iMX8M developed by the client.
Complete System testing on the target customized platform.
Modify the Linux to get it certified for ISO26262 certification.
Support clients in the certification process.
